HISTORY AND CURRENT STATUS
Cassandra Valentine has been working in the conferencing industry since 1999 and Terry-Anne Dissel partnering her since 2004. Together we’ve been specialist within the industry ever since. We started Visual & Plasma Displays cc in February 2006 with the sole purpose of service delivery that we felt had starting dying out. Currently we are servicing an impressive customer database and have established partnerships with other 100% black owned suppliers hence being able to provide a more complete and affordable event coupled with specialized services.
MARKET & PRODUCT/SERVICES
Primary supply of Visual equipment eg. Plasma Screens and IT equipment eg. Laptops. Secondary supply of other events equipment as follows: sound in the form of PA Systems and DJ set-ups, lighting in the form of parcans and staging as well as multi media equipment to the conferencing industries. We also service corporate companies, government departments, parliament and private individuals.
OBJECTIVES
Creating a stable and enriching work environment that is conducive to continuous improvement in developing a strong market position within the industry. To create opportunities for disadvantaged individuals and in particular empowering women and help them grow within our company and the industry as a whole. To enrich young talented learners and give them the opportunity to train and gain experience needed to help them succeed in their career paths.
